RICHLAND, Wash.–Gesa Credit Union has been named the number-one Credit Union SBA 7(a) lender in Washington and Oregon, marking its second consecutive year of leading the region in “empowering small businesses through strategic and tailored financial solutions.”

Gesa CU said its SBA lending program has experienced notable growth over the last year. In 2024, Gesa approved a total of 47 SBA 7(a) loans across Washington and Oregon, with an overall value of $37.2 million.

- 2023: Approval Count – 36, Approval Amount – $29.3 million, Average Loan Size – $814,239
Oregon
- Oregon 2024: Approval Count – 4, Approval Amount – $4.8 million, Average Loan Size – $1.2 million.
- Oregon 2023: Approval Count – 1, Approval Amount – $700,000, Average Loan Size $700,000.
