LISLE, Ill. — Glory has partnered with Velera to bring Co-op Shared Branch Express transactions to self-service kiosks, allowing credit union members and guest members to conduct common transactions without assistance from a teller, according to the organizations.
Glory said the partnership will integrate Velera’s Co-op Shared Branch Network with its TellerConcierge integrated kiosk technology.
The integration will allow users to independently perform the seven most common shared branch transactions at participating credit unions, according to Glory.

The companies said the technology is intended to give members another option for conducting routine transactions while allowing credit union employees to spend more time on higher-value and relationship-focused services.
Shared branching allows members of participating credit unions to conduct certain transactions at other credit unions in the network when they are away from their own institution’s branches.
Expanding Self-Service in Shared Branching
Under the partnership, Velera’s account-based network will be integrated with TellerConcierge, allowing members and guest members to use Shared Branch Express while still having access to employees at the branch when assistance is needed.
Glory said the technology is aimed at credit unions seeking to increase automation without eliminating the personal service traditionally associated with the credit union branch.
“TellerConcierge was designed to help credit unions modernize the branch without losing the personal service members expect,” Stratford Dick, senior vice president of product and technical solutions at Glory, said in announcing the partnership.
‘Greater Access’
Dick said adding Velera’s Co-op Shared Branch Network functionality to the self-service platform can provide greater access and convenience for members while increasing staff capacity and reducing transaction costs through automation.
“The Shared Branch Network is central to the credit union promise of access and convenience,” said Amy Evans, senior vice president of strategic solutions at Velera.
Evans said Shared Branch Express gives participating credit unions another way to offer shared branch transactions through secure self-service while allowing employees to remain focused on member service.
Focus on Branch Automation
Glory said TellerConcierge combines kiosk technology, software and platform integration to support branch digitization and guided self-service.
The company said the approach is intended to shift routine transactions to automated channels while freeing employees to handle transactions or member needs that require more personal attention.
