TAMPA, Fla. — GTE Financial, one of Florida’s largest credit unions, announced the opening of its 25th full-service Community Financial Center, expanding its presence in Pasco County with a new location in Wesley Chapel.

The new center is designed to provide members and prospective members with access to personalized financial services, including everyday banking, lending and financial guidance. The Wesley Chapel location reflects the credit union’s continued growth and commitment to serving communities across the Tampa Bay region.
The center will be led by Community Financial Center Manager Barbara Sattoe, who brings more than a decade of experience with GTE Financial. Sattoe previously led the growth of the Ocala branch, helping it become one of the credit union’s top-performing locations, and later replicated that success at the New Tampa branch.
“This community is growing quickly, and we have an opportunity to build meaningful relationships from day one,” Sattoe said. “I’ve seen firsthand how a local branch can make a difference by connecting people with the right financial tools and guidance. I’m excited to bring that same level of service and community focus to Wesley Chapel.”
Members who visit the new Community Financial Center at 8040 Curley Road Wesley Chapel, FL 33545 can learn more about available services and programs, including current promotions, the newly introduced Carefree Checking account, and scholarship opportunities for students. Representatives will also be available to discuss financial planning for individuals and families, as well as business banking solutions.
The opening marks GTE Financial’s 25th Community Financial Center and underscores its ongoing investment in accessible, community-based banking services.
