Heartland CU Now Official Financial Wellness Partner of Fort Hays State Athletics

FT. HAYS, Kan.– Heartland Credit Union said it has become the Official Financial Wellness Partner of Fort Hays State University Tiger Athletics.

According to the organizations, the partnership “represents a shared commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes—ensuring they are not only physically prepared for competition, but also equipped to navigate life’s challenges, including financial literacy and long-term financial well-being.”

What’s Included
Through the partnership, Heartland Credit Union said it will provide bi-monthly financial wellness workshops covering essential topics such as budgeting, student loans, smart spending, savings and financial planning for life after college.

In addition, student-athletes will receive curated eNewsletter content on subjects like investing, taxes, managing debt and financial confidence. HCU staff will also be available for one-on-one financial counseling.
