Holy Rosary CU Names New President

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Holy Rosary Credit Union has named Marquita Miller-Joshua as president of the credit union.

Holy Rosary Credit Union said in a post on its official Facebook page that Miller-Joshua will assume the role effective June 1, succeeding longtime President and CEO Carole Wight following her retirement after 18 years with the organizatiMaon.

According to the $47-million credit union, Miller-Joshua has served in multiple leadership roles at the institution and was previously treasurer on Holy Rosary Credit Union’s volunteer board of directors.

Holy Rosary Credit Union serves more than 6,000 members and focuses heavily on serving economically distressed and historically underserved communities.

Services in Multiple Languages

HRCU provides multilingual financial services in Vietnamese, Spanish and English and has used Community Development Financial Institution funding to expand financial education, small-dollar lending and video banking services.

The credit union also holds an NCUA low-income designation and is certified as a Community Development Financial Institution, according to the CDFI profile.

Holy Rosary Credit Union said Miller-Joshua is expected to continue the organization’s mission-driven approach focused on financial inclusion and community development.
