CHILLICOTHE, Ohio–Homeland Credit Union is offering to deposit $50 into the accounts of 2026 graduates.
The offer is available to kindergarten, junior high, high school and post-secondary graduates, including existing members, graduating children of members, and new graduating seniors who join, the credit union said, adding that graduates in Ross, Pickaway, Vinton, Fayette, Highland, Pike, Jackson, Hocking and Fairfield counties also are eligible.
To participate, graduates must bring their 2026 diploma or grade card to one of Homeland Credit Union’s five locations. The offer must be redeemed by Aug. 31.
90 Day Hold on Deposits
New members are welcome, but there is a 90-day hold on the $50 deposit for new accounts.
The credit union said it has been recognizing area students for years through scholarships and promotions, and the new initiative is another way to connect with young individuals seeking financial services, according to the announcement.
