MILWAUKEE, Wis.–InterLutions, a provider of employee benefit solutions for credit unions, announces that Kelly Balodis, SHRM-CP, Client Services Manager, has passed GBA 1 (Directing Benefits Programs Part 1), marking an important milestone in her pursuit of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
The CEBS program develops expertise in employee benefits, including benefits plan design, administration, and related regulatory considerations. Through this professional development, Balodis is expanding her knowledge to support the credit unions and employees InterLutions serves.

“Kelly’s commitment to professional development reflects the level of service we strive to provide our credit union clients,” said Sam Boore, Director of Operations. “Her dedication to building her expertise while supporting clients every day is a great example of how investing in our team strengthens the service and guidance we deliver.”
Balodis joined InterLutions in April 2025 as Client Services Manager. In this role, she manages and administers employee benefit programs, provides HR and benefits guidance to credit union clients, supports their employees, and helps navigate regulatory compliance requirements. She brings a strong background in benefits enrollment, claims processing, employee education, and HR support. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in psychology from Kean University, an Accident & Health, Sickness, and Life insurance producer license, and earned her SHRM-CP certification in July 2025.
“Passing GBA 1 is a meaningful milestone as I work toward my CEBS designation,” said Balodis. “The knowledge I am gaining helps me continue to grow professionally and better support our credit union clients and their employees as they navigate their benefits. I appreciate being part of a team that encourages learning and professional growth.”
