NEW ORLEANS — Keesler Federal Credit Union and the New Orleans Saints are bringing back a program that will donate $1,000 for every field goal the NFL team makes during the 2026 regular season, with the money this year benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana.
The Saints and Mississippi-based Keesler Federal announced the third season of the “Kicks for Kids” initiative, which links the team’s performance on the field with financial support for organizations serving children and families in the region.
Last season, Keesler Federal donated $29,000 through the program, with the money going to the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter, according to the credit union and the Saints.
“Kicks for Kids is one of the many ways Keesler Federal invests in the communities we serve,” Keesler Federal President and CEO Andy Swoger said.
Swoger said the program turns each Saints field goal into financial support for community organizations and creates opportunities for local youth.
Boys & Girls Club Selected as 2026 Recipient
The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana provides programs and supportive environments for young people designed to build confidence, develop leadership skills and help them reach their potential.
“We are incredibly honored and excited to be selected as this year’s Kicks for Kids recipient,” President and CEO Angel Nelson said.
Nelson said the partnership will provide club members with experiences they might not otherwise have while supporting the organization’s broader youth-development mission.
Under the program, each successful Saints field goal during the regular season will generate a $1,000 donation.
The $29,000 donated during the 2025 season means Saints field goals generated 29 separate $1,000 contributions through the program.
