TEMPE, Ariz.–Landings Credit Union said its president and CEO, Brian Lee, will be leaving the post on April 23 to accept another CEO role and that it has named Cecilia Ashe to serve as interim.

The $242.7-million Landings CU, which did not say where Lee is headed, said in a statement, “His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the organization’s foundation and deepening its connection with the community.”
Ashe has been serving as vice president and CEO with Landings CU.
“We are proud to announce Cecilia Ashe as Interim CEO of Landings Credit Union,” Chairman Eric Emmert said in a statement. “Cecilia is a strong, values-driven leader with the experience to guide us through this transition. Our members can rest assured in her ability to lead with stability and purpose.”
More Than 40 Years Experience
Ashe has more than 40 years of experience in financial services, including leadership in lending, marketing, and operations. She is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Graduate School of Banking and has completed numerous leadership development programs.
“Her professional strengths are matched by a deep commitment to community engagement,” the credit union added.
Ashe is actively involved with organizations such as The Centers for Habilitation, Prestamos Women’s Business Center, and the AZ Microcredit Initiative, among others.”
