DOVER, N.H.– Lighthouse Credit Union said it has become the first credit union to ever win a Webby Award, which recognize excellence on the Internet.
The credit union, in partnership with the agency Anchor, won the “People’s Voice” Webby Award in the Websites and Mobile Sites: Financial Services & Banking category.
“Voted on by the public, the award recognizes their standout digital innovation and creative partnership, and places,” the $1.9-billion Lighthouse Credit Union said in a statement, noting that past winners in the category include Bloomberg, Apple Wallet, TurboTax, PayPal, and Betterment.
The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), honoring the best websites, video, advertising, media, and more. This year’s competition drew over 3.5 million votes across nearly 13,000 entries from more than 70 countries.

‘Special Significance’
“This award holds special significance as it was selected by the people — our members, our community, and our digital audience,” Ryan Grace, vice president of Brand at Lighthouse Credit Union, said in a statement. “To be the first credit union ever to receive this recognition is an incredible honor. We’re deeply grateful to our agency partner, Anchour, for their creativity and shared vision. This award is a testament to the power of collaboration and our commitment to digital excellence.”
‘Intuitive Design’
Lighthouse Credit Union said its award-winning digital platform combines intuitive design, robust security, and accessibility to deliver “reliable and user-friendly banking across both web and mobile platforms.”
