TAMPA, Fla. – Local Little Leaguers will experience what Suncoast Credit Union is calling the “thrill of a lifetime” tonight when they take the field with Tampa Bay Rays All-Star Junior Caminero while raising money for their baseball programs during “Every Hit is a Win with Junior Caminero,” a special event being hosted by Suncoast..
Modeled after the credit union’s annual Every Hit is a Win with Suncoast event, Suncoast CU said participants from two Little League teams will compete alongside Caminero in a hitting and home run challenge. Suncoast Credit Union will award donations to the participating teams based on their performance throughout the event.
The event will take place tonight between 6:30-8:30 p.m. ET at the Shimberg Sports Complex on Baseball Avenue.
50+ Players Expected
“Approximately 50 to 60 players, along with family members and friends, are expected to attend and participate alongside Caminero. DJ Felix will serve as emcee, and Tampa Bay Rays mascot DJ Kitty will make a special appearance,” Suncoast CU said. “Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson of ‘The Pat and Aaron Show’ will serve as honorary hype coaches, helping energize participants throughout the competition.”
