Navy FCU Launches New Ad Campaign Promoting its ‘Mission Assistant’ for the Auto-Buying Process

VIENNA, Va. — Navy Federal Credit Union has launched a national advertising campaign designed to help members navigate the car-buying process, introducing a new character called the “Mission Assistant” to highlight the credit union’s auto financing services.

According to advertising industry publication Adland, the campaign, titled “Mission Assist: Auto,” was developed in collaboration with Navy Federal’s agency of record, Doner.

The campaign uses humor and storytelling to depict the Mission Assistant helping consumers navigate common car-buying decisions. The character is intended to reinforce Navy Federal’s brand promise, “Our Members Are the Mission,” by demonstrating how the credit union can provide practical financial guidance.

Targeting military personnel, veterans and their families, the campaign seeks to increase awareness of the world’s largest credit union’s financial products and services while emphasizing clarity and confidence in vehicle purchases.

National Rollout

Adland reported the campaign will run across television, streaming services, online video, radio, social media and digital advertising platforms.

Beginning Nov. 1, the campaign will also include national broadcast placements during major sporting events, including NFL, NBA and NHL games.

The initiative represents Navy Federal’s latest effort to connect its member-focused brand messaging with specific financial decisions consumers face.
