NCUA Bans One Former CU Employee From Ever Again Working in FIs

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–NCUA has issued a conviction-based prohibition  permanently banning one former CU employee from participating in the affairs of any federally insured depository institution. 

Issued the order was Jordan L. McCarthy, former employee of Educators Credit Union, Mount Pleasant, Wis., who was convicted and sentenced in the Circuit Court for Waukesha County with the offenses of Misappropriating Identification Information – Obtain Money, Wis. Stat. § 943.201(2)(a) and Fraud Against a Financial Institution $10,000 – $100,000, Wis. Stat. § 943.82(1).   

An Order of Prohibition prohibits a party from ever working for a federally insured depository institution.
