ALEXANDRIA, Va. ― NCUA said it has concluded its hosting of Vision250, a series of roundtables it said were designed to celebrate America250.
“The three-part event brought together leaders from across the credit union movement to discuss the ideas, actions, and initiatives that will shape the future of the industry,” the agency said in a statement. “The afternoon event featured three roundtables on youth financial literacy, regulation, and the future of the credit union movement. Through moderated discussions led by NCUA leaders, participants from credit unions, trade organizations, leagues, and credit union service organizations shared ideas and explored emerging issues and opportunities.”
NCUA added Vision250 activities commemorate America’s 250th anniversary and “underscore the agency’s commitment to seeking stakeholder feedback and collaborating with the public as it looks towards the future.”
