NCUA Named Winner of Exceptional Workplace Award from Gallup

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–NCUA has been named a winner of a 2025 Exceptional Workplace Award from Gallup. It is the only federal agency to have received the honor.

“Exceptional workplaces feel different. They stand out because they’re rare,” said Gallup in announcing the honors. “Being the best doesn’t come easily — it requires consistent commitment. We honor these organizations for showing us what’s possible when leaders intentionally build cultures where employees can thrive. Our 2025 winners continue to push the boundaries of what a workplace can be, inspiring all of us to strive for exceptional every day.”

The ’Core’

Added Mike Ritz of Gallup, “NCUA puts the strengths of their leaders, managers and employees at the core of how they work every day. They achieve more by helping employees focus on what they do best, maximizing potential within teams and integrating strengths-accelerated development into their mission, vision and values.”

NCUA Board Member Todd Harper issued a special thanks to Towanda Brooks, Felicia Purifoy, Jannifer Tokar and Catherine Galicia for the roles in “working together to make this achievement possible.”

The award comes at the same time NCUA has been ordered by the White House to provide a proposal for reducing staff, along with other federal agencies.
