BATTLE CREEK, Mich.–The Haven of Rest received a $7,089 donation from the OMNI  Gives Back program to aid in its mission of providing shelter, addiction recovery  services, and transitional housing to those experiencing homelessness in Calhoun  County. 

Through the OMNI Gives Back program, members of OMNI Community Credit Union  help direct funds to local nonprofits with every auto loan funded, the credit union said.

“This initiative has  become a cornerstone of OMNI’s commitment to community support,” it added.

This year, OMNI  increased its donation amount to $25 per funded auto loan, further amplifying its  community impact. 

“We are honored to support Haven of Rest as they continue their incredible work in  providing hope and assistance to those in need,” President and CEO Mark Cramer said in a statement. Our goal is to make a tangible difference in the  communities we serve, and this donation is one way we can contribute.”
