PORTLAND, Ore.-OnPoint Community Credit Union, it has signed a lease at  707 SW Washington Street in the heart of downtown Portland’s business district. The WiredScore Certified  Platinum building will house a new OnPoint branch with OnPoint’s newly expanded commercial, nonprofit, and  small business banking teams, the credit union said.

“Portland is our home. We were founded right here,” President and CEO Rob Stuart said in a statement. “The expansion of our commercial and business lines into the downtown core is a strategic investment, underscoring our commitment to our members and community.” 

“As OnPoint’s reputation for exceptional service grows, we are seeing more members in the business and nonprofit  communities joining our membership. This new location will allow us to serve more of their needs through a robust,  consultative approach to banking,” Bob Harding, chief commercial officer, said in a statement.

The 17,000-square-foot space will undergo a redesign this year, with a goal  of opening its doors sometime in the latter part of 2025.
