CHARLESTON, S.C –REV FCU was the presenting sponsor for the sixth annual Women’s Luncheon hosted by the Greater Summerville Chamber of Commerce at the Middleton Place Pavilion.
“REV is honored to have been a part of this event from its launch and proud to continue our support as the presenting sponsor,” COO Tara Smith said in a statement. “We take great pride in being able to help advance the Chamber’s mission, endorsing initiatives aimed at enhancing economic vitality, fostering a favorable business climate, and improving the region’s quality of life. As a Chamber board member, I get a firsthand view of the work of the Chamber within the Dorchester County community.” Smith has served on the Board since 2020.
REV FCU said the luncheon was a convergence point for a diverse group of accomplished women, spanning business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, and community advocates.
“It was a celebration of the remarkable women who continue to uplift and support one another. Attendees had the opportunity to network, share experiences, and engage in conversations conducive to personal and professional development,” it added.
The credit union said notable guests and representatives from area nonprofits who advocate for positive change in the greater Summerville area were in attendance, including Ashton Johnson of Beyond Basic, Jana Riley of Public Works Art Center, Kelsi Brewer of MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, and Crystal Bovell of Meals on Wheels of Summerville.
