GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Canvas Credit Union, which is the official credit union of Colorado Mesa University, is offering eligible students at the school $100 when they open a new checking account online through a limited-time promotion as part of CMU’s Centennial Celebration.
The promotion runs through April 30 and is open to the first 250 CMU students who use the promotional link to open a new account. Eligible students who complete the process will receive a $100 deposit in their new checking account within one week, the credit union said.
Making it Easy
“The promotion is designed to make opening an account easier and more accessible for students by allowing the process to be completed fully online, including for those with out-of-state identification,” Canvas CU stated.
According to Canvas CU, students can complete the application in five to 15 minutes online. To apply, students will need to provide a government-issued ID, Social Security number, proof of enrollment at CMU and a cell phone number for verification.
