Robbers Attempt to Hit ATM While It’s Being Serviced

SHEBOYGAN, Wis.–A credit union ATM being serviced here was the intended target of robbers this week.

According to the Sheboygan Police Department, they were notified at around 11 a.m. concerning an attempted strong-arm robbery at the UnitedOne Credit Union ATM at 2122 Superior Avenue.  

Police said repairs were underway by a vendor and electrician working on the machine at the time of the incident. The police report adds  that no weapons were displayed and there were no injuries reported during the incident.

The Sheboygan Police Department said it believes the attempted robbery was a targeted event, and that the subjects have fled the area.
