EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) has purchased property on Chippewa Mall Drive for the future development of a new office in Chippewa Falls, reinforcing Royal’s ongoing investment in the region and dedication to delivering convenient, local service.
Royal CU said it has been a part of the Chippewa Falls community for more than 50 years and currently operates two offices in the city. Once construction is complete, the existing Chippewa Falls South office on Woodward Avenue will transition to the new site, while the Chippewa Falls Downtown office on Bay Street will remain open.
“Royal’s commitment to the Chippewa Valley runs deep, and this planned relocation reflects our ongoing focus on the people and communities we’ve served for decades,” shared Brandon Riechers, Royal President and CEO. “The new office will allow us to serve Members in a more visible and accessible location and support the long-term needs of the community.”
The new office will be located within the Chippewa Crossing development, a growing retail corridor that provides easy access to a variety of nearby businesses and services. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with the new office expected to open in late fall.
