EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union supported Habitat for Humanity’s work with a total of $15,000 in donations to three local Habitat for Humanity chapters: Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity. St Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity, and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
Each organization received $5,000 to support its current efforts. Royal team members also supported Habitat’s work through hands-on experiences in each region. They volunteered at the Habitat ReStore in the Chippewa Valley, assisted with a home build in Minnesota, and visited a future build site in the St. Croix Valley to learn how upcoming projects will create additional opportunities for local families.

The contributions and volunteer efforts took place during Habitat for Humanity’s 50th anniversary year, marking five decades of working alongside families and communities to build and improve homes around the world.
“Habitat for Humanity has a longstanding impact on the communities we serve by helping individuals and families achieve the stability that comes with safe, affordable homeownership,” said Brandon Riechers, President and CEO of Royal. “We are proud to support three Habitat chapters within our footprint and to have our team members join them in this important work.”
“Meaningful partnerships are essential to advancing our mission, and we deeply value the relationship we have built with Royal Credit Union,” said Kristie Smith, Executive Director of St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity. “Royal’s support will help us further our programs, resources, and services that individuals and families in the region rely on, allowing us to reach more people and deepen the impact of our work. We are grateful for Royal’s investment in Habitat for Humanity.”
Royal’s core purpose is to create a positive impact in the lives they touch. Through financial contributions, volunteerism, and community partnerships, Royal team members work alongside local organizations to address needs and create opportunities for individuals and families.
