SPRINGFIELD, Ore.— SELCO Community Credit Union has named Francine Gardner as Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer for its Commercial & Business Banking division.

Operating out of SELCO’s Gateway branch, Gardner will be tasked with developing new commercial and business banking relationships through business development and community engagement. She will also be responsible for the growth, management, and credit quality of a complex commercial loan portfolio.
Gardner has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting out as a personal banker at a national bank straight out of college. After that one-year crash course in banking, she has spent the entirety of her career in commercial banking, most recently as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer for eight years at a Pacific Northwest-based credit union.
“We are incredibly fortunate to welcome someone of Francine’s caliber, experience, and reputation to our team and look forward to the expertise and leadership she will bring,” said Sean Huntington, Vice President of Commercial Lending.
After earning a high school diploma as an exchange student from Indonesia, Gardner earned an associate’s degree in General Studies from Lane Community College in 1996 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Oregon in 1998. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working in her yard, and spending time with her daughter.
