MELBOURNE, Fla.— Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU), one of Florida’s largest credit unions, today celebrated the grand opening of its new Miami Gardens North branch, welcoming local residents, members and community partners to experience the Credit Union’s newest full-service location. Located at 20395 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33169, the branch is SCCU’s 70th location overall and its 15th in Miami-Dade County, reinforcing the Credit Union’s continued growth across South Florida.
The Grand Opening Celebration welcomed the community with refreshments, giveaways, prizes and tours of the new branch. As part of the festivities, SCCU presented a $25,000 donation to Junior Achievement of Greater Miami in support of the organization’s financial education and youth empowerment programs throughout the community.

The new branch marks SCCU’s second location in Miami Gardens. The Credit Union’s original Miami Gardens branch, located inside the Walmart at 17650 NW 2nd Ave, remains open and continues serving members. This new, approximately 5,100-square-foot location expands on that presence, giving members a full slate of services including drive-thru banking with Saturday hours, dedicated on-site parking, walk-up and drive-up ATMs, additional office space for private member consultations, and a comfortable waiting area.
This expansion supports SCCU’s existing and growing base of more than 152,000 members in Miami-Dade County and created six new jobs under the leadership of branch manager Naomi Samuels.
