MELBOURNE, Fla.—Space Coast Credit Union has launched the second commercial in its 2026 “Watchdog” advertising campaign, expanding a marketing platform the credit union says is designed to reinforce its commitment to protecting members and helping them make smarter financial decisions.
According to SCCU, the new commercial is set at a Renaissance Faire and follows the earlier “Banking on It” spot introduced this summer. The campaign continues to use familiar dog trigger words and behaviors as a humorous way to highlight the credit union’s focus on member protection. The spot can be viewed here.

“Watchdog has become a powerful symbol of what our members can expect from Space Coast Credit Union,” Joelle Hahn, SCCU’s senior vice president of marketing, said in a statement. “As we celebrate 75 years of serving our members and continue expanding our presence across Florida, we’re excited to continue the evolution of the campaign with a new spot that emphasizes our commitment to helping members while delivering the humor and personality they’ve come to know and love.”
SCCU said the Watchdog character was introduced in 2023 as a symbol of its efforts to protect members’ financial well-being. The “Banking on It” platform, launched earlier this year, incorporated dog-related behaviors into everyday situations, and the latest commercial continues that approach with the Renaissance Faire setting.
Running in Multiple Channels
The credit union said the campaign will run across multiple channels, including:
- Digital advertising.
- Billboards.
- Social media.
- Broadcast television.
- Connected TV platforms.
- Audio streaming services.
SCCU said the advertising will target both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences across Florida.
The credit union partnered with advertising and public relations agency &Barr, along with production companies Diamond View and Cahoots Studios, to develop the “Banking on It” campaign. The new commercial is the second creative release in SCCU’s 2026 Watchdog campaign.
