STCU Again Offering Community Assistance with FAFSA Forms

SPOKANE, Wash. — STCU said it is again offering free assistance to families who need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

FAFSA must be completed to be eligible for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds and loans for vocational training, apprenticeship programs, and two-year, four-year or post-graduate degrees, according to the FAFSA website, studentaid.org.  in a statement, STCU said it has partnered with local high schools and college career counselors and Launch NW to provide help completing the FAFSA form.

STCU said the assistance is available to anyone, regardless of STCU membership. Families are being encouraged to create an ID at studentaid.org before their appointment, and to review the required financial records at stcu.org/fafsa.
