TAMPA, Fla. — Suncoast Credit Union has entered into a partnership with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay that will give credit union members discounted admission and other benefits while expanding Suncoast’s presence throughout the theme park.
Suncoast members can receive $10 off each single-day admission ticket, the credit union said. The year-round discount applies to as many as six tickets per transaction, providing savings of up to $60.
New Suncoast members also may qualify for a Busch Gardens Fun Card by registering for the promotional offer, establishing a credit union membership and opening or applying for an eligible product, such as a checking account or auto loan.
“At Suncoast Credit Union, we’re committed to creating meaningful value for our members both inside and outside the financial world,” President and CEO Kevin Johnson said in a statement. “Our partnership with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay allows us to offer exciting new benefits while celebrating one of Florida’s most beloved destinations.”
The agreement names Suncoast a “Proud Partner” of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and will increase the credit union’s visibility inside the park, according to Suncoast.
A $100 Million Investment
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay President Jon Vigue said the partnership connects two organizations committed to serving the Tampa Bay area. He said the park is making enhancements through a $100 million investment.
The credit union said the Busch Gardens offer is part of a broader program of member discounts and partnerships with Florida attractions.
Suncoast is Florida’s largest credit union and has more than $22 billion in assets, 98 full-service branches and more than 1.5 million members statewide, according to the credit union. It was founded in 1934 as Hillsborough County Teachers Credit Union.
