Telhio Launches Revamped Treasury Management Program for SMBs

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Telhio Credit Union has launched a revamped treasury management program aimed at helping small and midsize businesses manage payments, protect against fraud and streamline their financial operations.

The new program, called ESSENTIALS, combines a range of business banking and treasury management services for a flat monthly fee, according to the credit union.

The $1.35-billion Telhio said the program is designed to provide businesses with greater flexibility as they grow while simplifying access to financial services that might otherwise be managed separately.

Program Includes Fraud Protection, ACH Services

Through ESSENTIALS, business owners work with Telhio relationship managers to identify and implement services appropriate for their operations.

The program includes fraud protection and risk management tools, automated payments and ACH origination, among other treasury management services, Telhio said.

The credit union said the services can be bundled with new or existing business checking accounts, with customers paying a consistent monthly fee.

Telhio said the approach is intended to give businesses greater transparency into their banking costs while integrating multiple financial tools into a single package.

‘Fits Seamlessly’

“ESSENTIALS aligns seamlessly with our vision for member-first banking,” Dina Shultz, chief revenue officer of Telhio Credit Union, said in a statement. “As a top SBA lender in Ohio, we are continually evolving our processes to equip and empower business owners with the necessary financial integrations that simplify their day-to-day.”

The credit union said the revamped treasury management offering is targeted primarily at small and midsize businesses seeking to consolidate banking services and improve efficiency in managing payments and other financial operations.
