TopLine Financial Holds Fifth Annual Bedding Drive

MAPLE GROVE, Minn.–TopLine Financial Credit Union held its fifth annual Bedding Drive during February benefitting three local non-profits:  Karen Organization of Minnesota, More Community Services and YMCA of the North Youth and Family Services.

TopLine said its members and employees generously donated bedding items of pillows, sheet sets, comforters and blankets to help bring comfort to those in need in our local communities.

Employees were able to participate by donating bedding items and money in exchange for a “Foundation Friday/Saturday” sticker, allowing them to wear jeans to work. TopLine and community members could also purchase items from an Amazon Wishlist or Target Registry and have them delivered directly to TopLine, and in return delivered to the charitable partners.

When the program ended TopLine employees and members had donated more than 133 bedding drive items and $1,140 in cash to assist local individuals and families.

“Thank you to the generosity of our employees and members, who graciously donated items to help bring comfort and warmth to our neighbors in need,” Mick Olson, TopLine president and CEO, said in a statement. “Every blanket, pillow and bedding donation provides comfort to someone facing uncertainty, and together we have helped to wrap our community in kindness and support.”
