TAMPA, Fla. — Trellance said it is launching a new event designed to connect credit unions and other investors with fintechs, credit union service organizations and other companies seeking capital and opportunities within the credit union market.
Trellance said Nexus, created for its Investors Club, will bring together investors, companies and industry professionals to explore potential investments, partnerships and technology adoption.
The inaugural event is scheduled for April 27-29, 2027, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

According to Trellance, Nexus will focus on two primary groups it calls “Investors” and “Builders.”
Investors will include credit unions and strategic partners interested in identifying, evaluating and participating in investment opportunities involving financial services. Builders will include software companies, service providers, CUSOs, fintechs and other companies developing products for the credit union market.
Focus on Investment, Partnerships
Trellance said Nexus is intended to go beyond a traditional investment conference or technology showcase by creating opportunities for participants to develop relationships that could lead to investments, product adoption and other partnerships.
Investors will have access to vetted companies, emerging technologies and market intelligence, according to Trellance. The event also will give investors opportunities to discuss how deals are evaluated, structured and negotiated and to explore potential co-investments.
Investment, legal, valuation, operational and credit union industry professionals also are expected to participate.
Builders, meanwhile, will have opportunities to meet directly with investors, credit union executives and other industry leaders.
Trellance said those interactions could help companies better understand how credit unions and strategic investors evaluate potential investments and partnerships. Credit union executives also could provide product feedback, serve as design partners or customers and help companies introduce their products more broadly within the industry.
Capital Meets Credit Union Innovation
Trellance President and CEO Tom Davis said the event reflects the organization’s view that connecting capital with emerging companies can help shape the future of credit unions.
“Nexus reflects Trellance’s belief that the future of the credit union movement will be shaped by bringing the right people, ideas and capital together,” Davis said.
Davis said Trellance wants investors to learn from one another while giving companies a better understanding of the credit unions and other organizations they hope to serve.
“Nexus is where the people investing in the future of credit unions meet the people building it,” he said.
The Broader Goal
Trellance said a broader goal is to connect promising companies with capital, potential customers, professional expertise and industry relationships that could help them grow.
At the same time, the organization said the event is intended to give credit unions greater visibility into — and potentially a financial stake in — technologies and services that could influence the industry’s future.
Nexus will serve as the Trellance Investors Club’s primary event in 2027, according to the organization.
