WASHINGTON–Two credit union CEOs have been elected to the America’s Credit Unions board of directors.

The two new members include:
- Carrie Birkhofer, president and CEO of Bay Federal Credit Union in California. Birkhofer was elected from mid-size members (credit unions with at least 50,000 but not more than 200,000 members) in the Western region
- Tim Mislansky, president and CEO of Wright-Patt Credit Union in Ohio. Mislansky was elected from large members (credit unions with at least 200,000 members) in the Southern region.
Terms for both began April 20; Birkhofer will serve on the board through February 2029, while Mislansky’s term runs through February 2030, the trade group said.
America’s Credit Unions is chaired by Karen Harbin, president and CEO of Commonwealth Credit Union in Kentucky.
