ALEXANDRIA, Va.–NCUA said it has released an update for its Automated Cybersecurity Evaluation Tool (ACET) application, which can be found on its website.

ACET is designed to help credit unions in assessing their defenses against cybersecurity attacks and aligns with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, the agency said.
NCUA is urging credit unions to use the ACET application to assess their cybersecurity preparedness, with the agency saying it includes a user-friendly application interface, enhanced reporting features, and supplementary information.
