DENVER— Westerra Credit Union has promoted Kirk Leverington to Chief Strategy and Performance Officer. Leverington, who brings two decades of financial experience to his new role, will continue to prioritize member-focused growth while also working to empower Westerra’s internal team.

Since joining the Westerra team in 2025 as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Performance Excellence, Leverington has worked closely with Marksberry and executive leadership to analyze and identify the credit union’s strategic opportunities, priorities and long-term goals.
Leverington is a Certified Management Consultant with an MBA from Royal Roads University (Victoria, BC) and previously served as the senior manager of business strategy for Verizon Wireless. He resides in Denver.
