Woooooooo… Pig! Sooie! CommunityAmerica CU Buys Naming Rights to U. of Arkansas Stadium, Becomes Official CU and More

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas and CommunityAmerica Credit Union announced a long-term partnership that will rename Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium as CommunityAmerica Razorback Stadium beginning with the 2027 football season.

The agreement, announced by the University of Arkansas Department of Athletics and CommunityAmerica Credit Union, also designates CommunityAmerica as the official credit union of Arkansas Athletics and expands the credit union’s presence in Northwest Arkansas.

The partnership was facilitated by Learfield and Razorback Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for Arkansas Athletics.

‘More Than Naming Rights’

The $10-billion CommunityAmerica CEO Lisa Ginter said the agreement represents more than a naming-rights deal.

“This is so much more than a name on a stadium,” Ginter said in a statement. “It’s about becoming part of the Razorback Nation experience and helping fans, students, student-athletes and the communities we and the university serve.”

Ginter said the partnership reflects the credit union’s long-term commitment to Northwest Arkansas and accompanies plans for a campus location and several additional branches throughout the region.

What Deal Includes

The multi-phase agreement includes:

  • Naming rights to CommunityAmerica Razorback Stadium beginning with the 2027 football season.
  • Designation as the Official Credit Union of Arkansas Athletics.
  • Sponsorship of Arkansas Athletics programs and events.
  • Renaming the SEC Club inside the stadium as the CommunityAmerica Club.
  • Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for Razorback student-athletes.
  • Financial education programs for student-athletes.
  • Launch of CommunityAmerica Razorback-branded checking accounts, debit cards and credit cards in 2027.

University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek said the partnership will provide benefits for student-athletes, fans and communities across the state.

“We are thrilled to welcome CommunityAmerica Credit Union as the Official Credit Union of Arkansas Athletics as one piece of a partnership that will benefit our student-athletes, fans and the state of Arkansas for years to come,” Yurachek said.

He added that CommunityAmerica’s focus on service and excellence aligns with the athletic department’s vision to “Be Our Best.”

CommunityAmerica, founded in 1940, said it traces its Arkansas roots to 1968. It has more than 600,000 members.

Way to Express ‘Connection’

Ginter said future Razorback-branded financial products will allow members and fans to express their connection to the university while receiving financial services from the credit union.

“Our members are proud of where they live and what they stand behind, and for so many in Arkansas and across our shared communities, that means being part of Razorback Nation,” Ginter said.
